The Digital Light Controller is specifically engineered to be used on its own, or seamlessly integrate “WS” LED strips with any Shadow-Caster Light Commander Series controller. The device sends the LEDs unique patterns with power toggles that create 12 unique programs such as bounce, clouds, fireworks, hailstorm, shadow rider and sparkle. The result is an eye-catching, dynamic lighting display that adds a new dimension to lighting.
Shadow-Caster’s SCM-DLC Digital Light Controller supports up to 10A and 360 pixels of digital LED strip lighting and is offered in 12V and 5V versions. Built-in digital fault protection within the device ensures power is disabled to the LEDs in the event of an over-current condition. The Shadow-Caster power-on backlight will flash to alert owners that the unit needs resetting by cycling the power.
With Deutsch connectors, installation of the controller is straightforward. Ultra-compact, the IP67 sealed housing is only 3.35″ x 2.74″ x 1.2″. The 12V SCM-DLC Digital Light Controller costs $134; the 5V version is $149. Shadow-Caster DAL Digital Light Strips start at $229.
